AVG internet security is a whole computer protection suite that protects users against trojans, hackers, and other forms of network threats. It offers users with a wide range of functions including web shields that scan and block vicious websites, email protection that automatically adds a footer to e-mails indicating they’ve been checked just for viruses, on-demand scanning of files, to be able to repair attacked files, and a retreat area of more than 5, 000MB in which attacked files could be held.

For starters, many of the features advertised in the user interface will be inaccessible until you pay for the premium adaptation and this is actually a type of upselling that I’m just not a fan of. In addition, the software slows down PC overall performance during reads and during document transfer situations which is a key concern, especially when running on older equipment.
